AYU-Project completed multidisciplinary BIM design of the engineering systems for phase two of the TRINITY residential complex in Moscow. Detailed design documentation and Revit LOD 400 digital information models were developed from approved design documentation, followed by multidisciplinary clash detection.
Client
The client commissioned the BIM design of engineering systems for phase two of the TRINITY residential complex in Moscow. The organisation name is withheld.
Facility
- phase two of the TRINITY residential complex in Moscow;
- one residential building;
- 298 apartments with a total area of 20,460 m²;
- car park;
- commercial premises.
Scope
Digital information models and detailed design documentation for the engineering systems had to be developed from design documentation that had passed expert review. The work included discipline coordination, multidisciplinary clash detection and the generation of quantity schedules from the digital information model.
Engineering design disciplines
The following disciplines were developed in the BIM environment:
- heat supply;
- power supply and electric lighting;
- water supply and drainage;
- ventilation and air conditioning;
- communication networks and security systems;
- fire protection;
- automation, supervisory control and utility metering.
The scope covered digital information model development at the detailed design stage, BIM-based production of detailed design documentation and modelling of engineering solutions based on the approved design documentation.
Coordination in the common data environment
The documentation was coordinated in the common data environment. Discipline models were federated to review the relative positions of engineering systems and resolve clashes before the detailed design packages were issued.
Deliverables
Revit BIM models of the engineering systems were developed to LOD 400 together with a complete detailed design documentation package. Quantity schedules were generated from the digital information model. The client received models in RVT, IFC, NWC and NWD formats.
