BIM designer / BIM modeler of electrical supply in Revit

Depending on the level of the specialist and the specific project, tasks may include:

• development of BIM models of power supply systems in Autodesk Revit;
• modeling of electrical equipment, cable routes, trays, ducts and cable support systems;
• development of models based on initial data, technical specifications, layouts and design solutions;
• release of design and working documentation based on the BIM model;
• preparation of plans, diagrams, specifications, statements and related documentation sheets;
• selection of equipment and generation of specifications;
• coordination of the BIM model with related sections;
• checking collisions and eliminating comments;
• participation in the development and coordination of technical solutions;
• making adjustments based on comments from the customer, the inspecting engineer or related specialists;
• compliance with the requirements of regulatory documentation and internal design standards.

• had experience in designing power supply systems;
• worked confidently in Revit;
• understood the composition of design and working documentation for power supply sections;
• had practical experience in developing BIM models of engineering systems;
• understood the principles of constructing cable routes, placing electrical equipment, switchboards, trays and cable support systems;
• could read architectural, structural and related engineering topics;
• knew the regulatory framework: SP, GOST, PUE, technical regulations and relevant documents;
• could independently understand the source data and ask clarifying technical questions;
• complied with deadlines and agreements;
• was ready to work remotely and get in touch promptly;
• knew how to accurately draw up documentation and make changes based on comments.

It will be an advantage:

• experience in issuing documentation at the design documentation and working documentation stages;
• knowledge of BIM coordination and working with collisions;
• experience working with related areas;
• availability of a portfolio or examples of completed projects.
